As Kingdom Servants, our desire is to host an engaging and welcoming week of fun & relatable biblical teachings our kids can use to grow in their understanding and love for Jesus. We are searching for willing and excited people to give of their time and talents to make this week a memorable one! Please register by filling out the form.
SCHEDULE:
Wednesday, July 7: 4:30pm - 8:15pm (4:30pm, Kingdom Servant Pizza Party and Meeting, followed by first evening of programming)
Thursday, July 8: 5:30pm - 8:15pm
Friday, July 9: 5:30pm - 8:15pm (If you sign up for clean up crew your hours are 7:45pm - 9:30pm.)
KINGDOM SERVANT ROLE DESCRIPTIONS:
Group Leader (8-10 people): Group leaders are responsible for caring for a specific grade level group and ensuring they travel from one station to the next throughout the night. They also keep attendance and engage with their kids so make sure they feel safe, have fun and learn!
Pre-K Leader (3 people): Pre-K Group Leaders are responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our pre-k kids. The Pre-K programming differs from the other groups and does not travel from one room to the next. Pre-K Group Leaders should have a love for little kids and a desire to teach fun and engaging lessons!
Snack Leader (1 person): Our Snack Leader is responsible for setting up and cleaning up our pre-packaged (COVID safe) snacks and drinks for groups as they enter the Fireside Room.
Games Leader (2 people): Each evening, each group will play an assigned game that will reinforce that evening’s Bible lesson. Games leaders should be high energy, engaging and able to give clear instructions. Games lasts for 15-20 minutes.
Bible Adventure / Bible Teaching (2-3 people): Bible teachers are responsible for teaching each group the lesson for the evening. These individuals should arrive each night prepared to teach an assigned lesson for 15 -20 minutes.
Clean Up Crew (6-8 people): VBS is messy! With so many decorations and foot traffic, we need lots of hands to help clean up the church after the party ends. Hours for clean up crew will be Friday, July 9th, from 7:45pm - 9:30pm(ish). Clean up crew will help tear down decorations, vacuum, and do overall cleanup.
Registration Desk (1-2 people): On Wednesday evening attendees will check-in at the info desk. We are searching for 1-2 friendly faces to assist our VBS participants.
Security (1-2 people): Security people will be responsible for monitoring who is coming in and out of the building during VBS hours and also assist should any security-related needs arise.
Nurse (1-2 people): Nurses will be on location during VBS hours in case any medical needs should arise.
AVM Leader: (1-2 people): Our AVM team will be responsible for playing video and sound during opening and closing sessions, as well as helping to setup the ability to play short videos in the Fireside Room.
Construction Team (1-2 people): We have a few construction needs for some of the props needed for this year’s theme. If you’re good with a hammer, consider joining this team!
